THE METHOD
IN THE ROOM.
Then in the business.
Question the assumptions. Address the difficult conversations. Put decisions into practice and measure what changes.
Request a briefing01 / GENERATIVE LEARNING
CHALLENGE THE
assumptions.
Hinare O’Brien’s Generative Learning Framework strips out assumptions, exposes blind spots and ties every session to the priorities of the business.
The test is what happens afterwards: how your people communicate, decide and follow through.
02 / FROM DISCUSSION TO DELIVERY
- 01
Before
Identify the participants and business issue. Agree the starting position and the measures to review.
- 02
In the session
Use live situations to examine assumptions and practise the conversations the work requires.
- 03
At work
Apply the learning to current responsibilities between sessions.
- 04
Follow-up
Review the agreed measures and participant feedback three to six months after the programme.
03 / PARTICIPATION & FOLLOW-UP
A WILLINGNESS
to act.
Bring current work situations to the sessions. Participants examine their assumptions, practise difficult conversations and apply what they learn between sessions. Progress is reviewed against the baseline, with programme reviews at three to six months.
The framework in more detail
O’Brien Industries describes four levels of learning: knowledge, comprehension, understanding and action. The framework connects what people discover in a session to their current responsibilities, then reviews what happens in the business.
The approach has been developed and applied over 15 to 20 years, across in-person, online and hybrid delivery.
